He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Southern California, followed by a hepatology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where he also earned a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Research. Dr. Noureddin further specialized with a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. In 2013, he began his academic career at USC as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. He later established the fatty liver program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2015. In 2022, he joined Houston Methodist to lead a state-of-the-art research institute
