Expect frequent, watery bowel movements within 30 minutes to 3 hours. You may experience bloating, cramping, nausea, or mild dehydration. Stay near a bathroom and drink plenty of clear fluids.
You must drink a total of 64 ounces of clear liquid—32 ounces after the first dose and 32 ounces after the second dose—to stay hydrated and ensure proper bowel cleansing.
Suflav is lower in volume and better tasting, while Suprep has a stronger taste but a slightly higher effectiveness. Preference depends on taste tolerance and individual response.
Expect frequent, urgent diarrhea within 30 minutes to a few hours. You may have bloating, cramps, nausea, or chills. The stool should turn clear yellow before the colonoscopy.
