Dr. Pothuri began his medical education at KIMS Medical School, and went on to complete his residency at the University of Massachusetts and his fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As a board-certified physician in gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. Pothuri has embraced a pursuit of continuing education that allows him to expand his medical skills and knowledge. Dr. Pothuri became a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology in 2016. This prestigious title is reserved for GI Physicians who have completed additional work in the field and have been strongly recommended by fellow Gastroenterologists.
His team at GastroDoxs is made up of professionals who take the time to make each patient feel at home, from the moment they enter the practice to the time they leave. In his off time, Dr. Pothuri's hobbies include watching his favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers, trying the various delicious cuisines that Houston has to offer and living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Pothuri and his wife Dr. Vanitha Pothuri's hearts are deeply rooted in philanthropy and at any given time both sit on the boards of various non-profit organizations. The love of Dr. Pothuri's life is his son Rahul.
