Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, IBS, Crohn’s disease, and colorectal cancer.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as colonoscopies, endoscopies, and capsule endoscopy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology and incorporate evidence-based practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using the practice’s EHR system.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
  • ERCP experince is a plus but not required!
  • Valid medical license to practice in Texas.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating complex GI disorders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to manage a high patient volume while maintaining quality care standards.
