GastroDoxs is seeking a professional, empathetic, and efficient Call Team to be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring exceptional communication and support for their gastroenterology needs.
Responsibilities
- Answer patient inquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for GI procedures and consultations.
- Provide information on preparation guidelines for GI diagnostics.
- Address billing, payment options, and insurance-related questions accurately, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.
- Route urgent calls or medical emergencies to the appropriate provider or team member with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the administrative and clinical teams to streamline communication and workflow.
- Identify and resolve patient concerns proactively to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a science field preferred.
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
- Experience in healthcare call centers or customer service roles.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to gastroenterology, is a strong advantage.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism.
