GastroDoxs is seeking a professional, empathetic, and efficient Call Team to be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring exceptional communication and support for their gastroenterology needs.

Responsibilities

  • Answer patient inquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for GI procedures and consultations.
  • Provide information on preparation guidelines for GI diagnostics.
  • Address billing, payment options, and insurance-related questions accurately, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.
  • Route urgent calls or medical emergencies to the appropriate provider or team member with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the administrative and clinical teams to streamline communication and workflow.
  • Identify and resolve patient concerns proactively to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a science field preferred.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
  • Experience in healthcare call centers or customer service roles.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to gastroenterology, is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
